The Democratic "Bluedogs" in Congress like to maintain the perception of fiscal responsibility. On many of their web sites they have these impressive tickers of our ever increasing Federal Deficit, second by second. Yes, this is cause for extreme concern and alarm for the future of our country.

However:

At age 57 years of age and still going, I have nothing to do with this deficit and have never taken an entitlement from our government. Nor have many, many, millions of other Americans. Somehow the words "Pork" and "Bridge to Nowhere" come to mind but that's not my, or our, doing. It is our legislators doing.

It is time to to confront this fiscal conservative coalition, and others, and help them understand that the Health Insurance inflation of the last decade really is an extreme ROOT source of our economic problems. In particular, for Individuals and Families in the 20K to 60K income range. A decade ago, private health insurance might have been 10% of this income, Now, it is pushing 30%.

We need to let them know that if we have real reform and affordable insurance, we will be able retain more of our income to feed our economy, save for retirement, pay more in federal income taxes, help our children with a college education, and maybe even take a vacation. God forbid!

Please contact all members of the Democratic Blue Dog Coalition and let them know that the Median Income Americans are in a meltdown on Health Insurance! Ask them to wear your shoes for a year and give up their Public Health Insurance Plan.

Most of the Blue Dog Congress leaders require that you fill out an online form  for contact so the easiest way to contact them is to Google search "Rep Full Name" or "Rep Last Name" and then click the Contact link. Some of them will not allow contact unless your zip code is within their district so you may have to get their mailing address and use that zip code.

We must hold these politicians accountable!
